December 7, 2009 afternoon at Majestic Hotel, Vietnam Association of Architects, Hochiminh Association of Architects and Gia Phuc Media Joint Stock Company held the Introduction meeting of Vietnam Architecture Exhibition 2010 - Vietarc 2010 that will be taken place from June 3-6, 2010 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre - SECC.

At the meeting, there is the participation of more than 200 invitations from architect, construction, building material, real estate and media companies. The meeting is presided over by Arch. Khuong Van Muoi - President of Hochiminh Association of Architects; Vice-president of Vietnam Association of Architects and M.Arch Nguyen Thu Phong - Vice-president of Vietnam Association of Architects, Chairman of Gia Phuc Media Joint Stock Company.

Begin the meeting, Arch Khuong Van Muoi honored to express his welcome and thankfulness to all individuals and enterprises who contributed to the successfulness of Vietnam Architecture Exhibition 2009 – Vietarc’09. Especially, he emphasized the approval and encouragement of whole local architects to Vietarc - the biggest playground of architecture in the year.

Following the successful of Vietarc’09, the organizer is more confident when continue to present Vietarc 2010 taking place from June 3-6, 2010 at SECC. As expectation, Vietarc 2010’s scale will have 520 booths with 40% from architects companies, 40% from building material companies and 20% from real estate and other.

At Vietarc 2010, beside plentiful activities as Architecture Forum (in 1.5 days); Gala Dinner; Customer Seminars; Architecture Competitions… there will be complemented some new activities to prove the professional and effectiveness of the exhibition as: the display of architect companies have to follow the complete penetration theme on space and aesthetic with the aims to get the concentration of ideas for a breakthrough style in Vietarc 2010; maximum encourage the investment for the creative and aesthetic of the booth design in order to bring the attractiveness and novelty for visitors; performance spaces, public spaces and exchange space for architecture students will be expanded over…

According to Mr. Phong’s statement, after the success of Vietarc’09, 50% of the last exhibitors will continue to take part in into Vietarc 2010, and especially most of international architect firms have a high appreciation to the effectiveness of this event. With this effectiveness, after the meeting many companies register booths with the organizer.

Vietarc 2010 continue to upgrade the professionalism of the preparation and work toward to the goal of sustainable development of Vietnam architecture in the process of integrating with the world’s in the new period.
